The people of Evergreen are my neighbors, friends, and family. I’ve grown especially close to this community over the last few years, and it breaks my heart to see them in pain after the recent shooting.

As Colorado Captain, I was supposed to be at New York Comic Con this weekend, but I couldn’t justify the time or money when my own backyard needs support. Instead, I’m doing a charity ride from Denver through the mountains, raising funds for Resilience1220. They’re a local nonprofit that began right here in Evergreen, helping our mountain youth connect, grow, and thrive—services that are needed now more than ever.

The cost of my trip to NYCC would have been around $1,000, and I’m committed to matching donations to reach that goal. I hope you’ll join me in supporting a community that has helped shape me, so we can heal together.
