ביום ששי האחרון חברנו אביב טטרסקי הוכה בידי מתנחלים שהגיעו לאדמות דיר איסתיא כדי לתקוף חקלאים פלסטינים, כאשר חיילים רבים צפו באירוע ולא התערבו.

תושבי הכפרים שעימם אנחנו בקשר נאלצים להתמודד עם אלימות בלתי פוסקת של המדינה, הצבא ואזרחים ישראלים. אנחנו פונים אליכם כדי שתתמכו בהם

Last Friday, our friend Aviv Tatarsky was beaten by settlers who arrived at the lands of Deir Istiya to attack Palestinian farmers, while numerous soldiers were present but did not intervene. The residents of the villages we are in contact with are forced to cope with such relentless violence from the state, the army, and Israeli citizens. We are turning to you to support them.

In the face of ongoing violence, the resilience of Palestinian communities also depends on economic support to compensate, even if only partially, for financial damages. Our friends in al-Walaja and Deir Istiya are facing the denial of livelihoods, the destruction of groves, the theft of agricultural equipment, house demolitions, and more.

Activists from Socially Engaged Dharma have been in continuous contact with the residents of these villages for many years. We know their inner strength well, and our close friendship makes the disaster Israel is inflicting upon them especially painful for us.

Your donation will allow for partial compensation for damages, funding legal aid to provide a measure of protection, and the purchase of equipment necessary for creating a livelihood.
