Hi everyone! My name is Stephanie Lopez, and I’m raising money for Sam. Unfortunately, Sam's story is not unusual for animal rescue. These situations are a reality in our world. Sam is a friendly ginger boy who was dumped in a rural area a few months ago. We know he had a home at one time because he's a sweet boy who knew kindness at some point in his life. Left to manage on his own, he quickly migrated to a colony that was being fed by a kind, elderly woman on a fixed income. Sam was not seen for several days, and finally drug himself back in the cold and rain to his feeder covered in bite wounds, bloody with 2 broken bones is one back leg. He's a fighter with a will to live. He desperately needs surgery and follow up care and we can not do it alone. Big emergencies like this can overwhelm a small rescue like ours but we could not ignore Sam's plight. We promised him we would help him and see to it that he eventually gets the loving home he craves and so desperately deserves. Please help us help Sam and be a hero to a sweet kitty the world has forgotten.
