Versailles Apartments Community Kittens Found in Wall -
Help Us Give These Resilient Kittens the Medical Care They Deserve

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

We’re reaching out with humble hearts to ask for your support in helping a small group of kittens who were born into an unimaginable situation — and who now rely on compassion to survive and thrive.

As property managers of two apartment communities, we’ve always taken our responsibility seriously — not just in caring for residents, but in protecting the environment we all share. Over time, we came to know a group of stray and feral cats quietly living alongside us. When two young cats gave birth, their kittens stayed hidden — until faint cries echoed from within the walls of our lobby one night.

We searched tirelessly for days, unsure what we’d do if we found them — but when a tenant’s dog alerted us to a pillar in our lobby, our community came together. With help from our maintenance team, we carefully opened the wall and discovered four 3-week-old orange kittens, covered in drywall dust and clinging to one another.
That same night, we reunited them with their mother, and a kindhearted couple in the building offered to foster the little family.

Days later, two more 3-week-old tabby kittens appeared from a locked storage area, severely malnourished and unable to eat or use a litter box. I took them in personally, bottle-fed them around the clock, and watched them slowly come back to life.

We never expected to become rescuers, but once these lives were in our care, we knew we had to do what was right.

Now comes the next step: preparing these kittens for safe, permanent homes. Every reputable adoption agency requires that kittens be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and examined by a vet. Unfortunately, all local shelters told us the same thing: “It’s mating season — we’re over capacity and can't help.”

We’ve scheduled their spay/neuter procedures and wellness exams for August 26, and the total cost is $4,200 for all the rescued kittens and the mother cat. We're asking for your help to cover this cost and give them the healthy, secure future they deserve.

Your donation will directly support:
• Spay/neuter surgeries for all kittens and the mom cat
• Veterinary wellness exams and vaccinations
• Flea and deworming treatment
• Food and essential supplies during foster care

We’ve included photos so you can see exactly who you’re helping. Every dollar raised will help these kittens not only survive — but thrive.

Even if you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign makes a real difference. Thank you for taking the time to read our story — and for being part of this journey with us.

With gratitude,
Mirta and Valeria
