Hi! My name is Neena and I wanted to share the story of my Renu Auntie.

Renu Bhatt has been apart of my family’s life since 2000, when she started to babysit my older sister. For almost 25 years, she has been like a second mother to me and my two sisters. We’ve grown an incredible relationship with the Bhatt family, including Renu’s husband, Anup, and their two daughters, Anisha and Nitisha.

Two years ago, Renu was diagnosed with a rare disorder called Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). This disorder progressively affects body movements, walking and balance, as well as eye movements. The impact of this diagnosis has been felt by an entire community, as Renu is a huge importance to many.

As one can imagine, the medical expenses for the diagnosis and the extensive care that this disorder requires are extreme. As Renu’s condition continues to progress, the help that she needs becomes a bigger concern for her family. This GoFundMe aims to ease the financial stressors that the Bhatt family have been facing.
