Hello world! My name is Brenainn or “Ren” and I am finally getting my top surgery on March 19th!! Thank you for joining me on this exciting new chapter of my life.
I am a transmasculine person who has been trying to get this procedure since 2017, and the stars have finally aligned in my favor. Now all I need is some financial support!
Top surgery expenses:
- Medical bills and medications
- Travel to Seattle for pre-op, surgery, and post-op appointments (which includes ferry crossings, gas, and parking)
- Lodging for surgery (night before, night of, night after)
- Lodging for recovery (6-8 weeks away from home)
- House/pet/farm-sitting services
- Loss of wages for two months in recovery
- Food for self and caregiving team
- Two months of regular bills (rent, car payment, car insurance)
Due to the unconventional nature of my living situation (an unfinished off-grid tiny home and farm), I will need to heal away from home. I will be relying on vacation rentals and the generosity of friends to help me. I want to be able to pay my recovery care team so financial support is essential.

For those who do not know me, I am a hardworking rural family man, a gender variety performer and producer (catch me on stage as ½ of Bobby4Bobby), an advocate and friend to the intellectual and developmental disabilities community, an artist, farmer, and musician.
This fundraiser will provide safety and security for me and my family so that I can take the time I need to fully heal and integrate with my new body.
