Hi, my name is Cindy and I am starting this fundraiser to help my niece Reno and her boyfriend Asa with medical and other costs for their baby Elijah. At two months old, Elijah was choking on milk and became unresponsive. His father and grandfather performed CPR on him and got him breathing. Reno immediately called 911 and they rushed him to the hospital. Due to the injuries of the resuscitation, the child abuse pediatrician accused Asa of child abuse. Although Elijah has completely recovered and is doing great, Reno and Asa have been fighting for Asa to have custody and to clear his name. Since this has happened, the child abuse pediatrician who accused Asa has been accused of multiple medical misdiagnoses and is facing numerous lawsuits by other families that were wrongly accused of child abuse in the Lehigh Valley.

Reno and Asa need to raise money to pay for medical bills, as well as, pay attorney fees, pay the court system, pay for expert witnesses, run laboratory tests, pay for the transcripts of documents, and all classes that DFCS requires, to name a few. All of this is an enormous financial burden for them. To this point, they have paid upward of $50,000 and still have a long road ahead as they continue their fight.
