Renita Heard Brown (Bebe) passed away on October 22, 2025, after a brave journey that began with surviving breast cancer and then faced a difficult path starting in October 2024 with rectal cancer. Major surgery in January revealed it had spread to her liver and lungs (stage 4). Despite chemotherapy and her unwavering spirit, her body could not endure the latest round of treatment, and she faced kidney failure last week, with cancer advancing to more of her liver and lungs. She fought with grace, humor, and a fierce love for her family.

We want to give Renita a farewell that mirrors the life she lived—full of warmth, laughter, and gratitude—but the costs of funeral, burial, and related arrangements exceed what we can bear alone.
