Thank you for taking the time to consider this GoFundMe request for our mom, Renie.

Many of you know Renie as a giving woman, a woman of faith, and someone who is always there for everyone. Over the last few years, she has been battling many health challenges, and now her body is facing another difficult diagnosis—Lymphoma (cancer).

Beginning in November 2025, emergency room visits were becoming frequent. On December 30, 2025, doctors discovered swollen lymph nodes and a mass. Tests were performed, including a biopsy, and she was diagnosed with Lymphoma. This diagnosis has started a new and unexpected journey filled with uncertainty and many sleepless nights, as she worries about her health, her ability to work, and how to afford basic needs like groceries.

Her oncology team has created a treatment plan that includes weekly immune infusions, PET scans, and ongoing monitoring.

We are incredibly grateful for her medical team, who have been nothing short of amazing.

Unfortunately, Renie will not be able to work during treatment and will only receive half of her regular pay. At the same time, she faces co-pays for treatments, possible additional procedures, special dietary needs, and everyday living expenses.

Renie has always been someone who gives to others without hesitation. She has helped families at her school site to find housing so they would not be homeless, raised money for students who needed clothing, and always supported her school police officers by providing breakfasts before the toy drive for the needy—something she held very dear to her heart. One of the things she misses most right now is singing in the church choir, as her treatments require her to protect her immune system.

All donations will go directly toward her medical co-pays, treatments, special nutritional needs, living expenses, and recovery.
