Many of us have worked with Rene (Champagne) Rodriguez in the past, she's been an integral part of many teams and always helped others around her. Rene is going through a very tough time in her life, her mom Kathryn suffered a stroke in July, where doctors discovered her cancer had moved to her brain and was inoperable.

Kathryn is a fiery 60 year old with a huge heart who has suffered through many tragedies in the past 3 years. At the end of 2018 she awoke from a medically induced coma to find both her husband and her 13 year old daughter dead.

Shortly after she recovered from the injuries, she suffered at the hands of her stepson, she was diagnosed with stage 3 metastatic breast cancer. She beat breast cancer in May on 2021, but shortly after had a stroke in July. While going through treatment, doctors discovered that her cancer moved to her brain, and have given her limited time.

Kathryn is optimistic despite her prognosis and is determined to finally meet her newest grandson (Rene's son Wes) who was born in January.

Our goal is gather money to help Rene's family meet Kathryn who lives in California, and assist with medical expenses not covered by insurance.
