Support Rene's Fight to heal from a Traumatic Brain Injury
Donation protected
On Thursday, November 7th, while working on the home that would allow us to retire, my husband Rene fell from a 30-foot roof. Rene had been working tirelessly on building a house that would give us the ability to retire. Rene fell headfirst, landing on a large rock. His assistant called 911 immediately. Luckily, Rene received care quickly from the neighbors, one of whom was a retired fire chief and an EMT, while waiting to be airlifted to Santa Rosa Hospital. Rene is currently on a ventilator under sedation since being admitted to the hospital. He is currently non-responsive to voice commands. Rene has a traumatic brain injury and is fighting for his life.
If you have ever met Rene, you would know he is one of the kindest and most genuine people in the world. He brings a smile to your face with his warm personality and goofiness. He is a thoughtful and caring person who would gladly help you out in an instant. We have always dreamed of retiring in the countryside and running a quaint little inn, where you can rent Triumph motorcycles to tour the beautiful countryside. Now, I am faced with not only the possibility of losing my husband, but my whole life will follow. I am not able to work due to the need of being his caregiver.
We are fundraising to cover the medical expenses and support needed during this critical time.
This fundraiser is for my husband, Rene, who is currently fighting for his life after a traumatic brain injury.
