Hi Everyone….

My name is Brad DeSantis. My mother is Renee DeSantis. Last week, Sunday morning at around 3am. My moms life changed, as did everyone’s.

Let’s go back….

I want to tell you about mom….

Renee DeSantis or “momma dukes” as she is commonly referred to by all my friends and significant others growing up and today.

Renee DeSantis, is a native Floridian, with parents from Alabama. She’s lived here, grown up here and raised two boys here. Started two businesses here, thrived here, grown here and is a pillar of the community as the go to dog groomer of Jupiter

40 years grooming dogs, taking care of two boys, their friends, girlfriends, bills, school and turning her two boys into men. It takes a mother of strong will and mind to conquer this task.

My momma, Renee DeSantis, made it look like a walk in the park. This woman, my mother, has a heart of gold. She will give to everyone to make sure they are happy, before she takes care of herself.

Some say it’s unhealthy, mom says it’s how she keeps a smile on her face. By seeing others happy.

Renee is a champion, a warrior, an inspirational mother, business owner and all around solid and good straight down to her core.

This life can be cruel…. Back to last Sunday at 3am…

Renee had a low sodium episode, this is caused from her medication, stress, blood thinning and too much water and exercise. Without putting in proper electrolytes, she has pass out spells.

This time it was at the top of our staircase. I woke up to find her, at the bottom of the stairs, folded in a pool of blood.

She was dispatched to St. Mary’s medical center here in west palm. I called the hospital and the nurse didn’t want to tell me the diagnosis.

I was told that with surgery, there’s a 30% chance my mom will walk again… She went through the surgery, no complications.

She is recovering now, but there’s a long road ahead of us to get momma walking and mobile again. I’m gonna be there with her every step of the way.

I love my momma, she loves everyone and everything. She’s the kindest soul, with a heart that is full of nothing but life, love and positivity…. There’s nothing she wouldn’t do for anyone.

The reason for this gofundme. Is the medical bills that are coming with the surgery and physical therapy. It’s overwhelming and Renee needs any and all help.

No donation is to small, Renee didn’t have health insurance…. So everything is coming out of pocket and we don’t have 500k laying around….

We know that this goal is a large amount, we don’t expect to reach the entire cash goal. The number is to show you the severity of my mommas case.

Would it be incredible to meet this goal, absolutely! We just know that any amount is helpful and we are thankful for all and any donation to help.❤️
