Support Renee's Recovery from Hurricane Damage

Hi, my name is TaRia (Racine, WI), and I’m reaching out on behalf of my aunt Renee, who lives in Greenville/Simpsonville, South Carolina. Hurricane Helene recently devastated her area, and she is struggling to recover. My aunt suffers from lupus, Raynaud’s syndrome, Sjogren’s syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, and has had two strokes, making it extremely difficult for her to manage this crisis alone.

The hurricane caused severe damage to her home. There’s water damage in her kitchen and bathroom, shingles have fallen off the roof, and sludge is coming up through her garbage disposal. Broken tree branches surround her home, and she’s still trying to pay for debris removal. Additionally, she lost power, and all her food has gone bad. Internet and phone service are down, and while she’s applied for FEMA assistance, we don’t know how long it will take for help to arrive.

She needs immediate support to clean up, repair the damage, and replace lost groceries. Any donation, no matter the size, will be deeply appreciated and will go a long way in helping my aunt return to some sense of normalcy. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity.
