Hi, my name is Renée Anderson. I am a junior at the illustrious North Carolina Central University pursuing my degree in social work. Not only have I received an amazing education, but I have tremendously grown in my personal relationship with Jesus Christ these past few years. I have had the opportunity to lead a women’s Bible study and serve as a student leader for my campus ministry, Summit College. Through these avenues, the Lord has taught me more about His character and, through His grace, has used me to see others grow in Christ!

This summer, I have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to complete an 8-week discipleship training project with the Summit Church. I’ll have the opportunity to spend the summer with Summit missionaries in Barcelona, Spain, helping them reach the city.

This is an excellent opportunity to explore the mission of God, develop a heart and mind for God, and gain a better understanding of what it means to leverage my entire life for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am confident that these eight weeks will help me to learn how to practically love God, love others, and love the world in response to what Jesus has done for me!

The dates of this project are May 18th through July 9th. The total cost is $5,000. Any amount donated is greatly appreciated and puts me one step closer to answering this calling God has put on my life!

Most importantly, I ask for your prayers. Pray for God to use this experience to shape me and grow me deeper in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Please pray for the church we are going to serve; pray that God will grant them fruitful ministries. Pray for the spiritual preparation of our team and for those we will encounter. Pray that I will be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit and obedient to God’s voice.
