Support Renee's Mission to Teach in Thailand

Hey folks!

I am fundraising to go on a mission’s trip to Thailand! I and my team are partnering with Paladin Rescue Alliance, which is an organization dedicated to teach children anti-human trafficking education, swimming, survival skills and water safety.

I will be going over in August for 2 weeks to a school near Chiang Mai to teach a school of over 300 children how to swim and how to defend themselves against human trafficking. Drowning is the leading cause of death for children under 15 in Thailand, resulting in an estimated 1,500 deaths per year. Compassion International will be travelling with us to teach the kids about human trafficking and how to stay out of it.

As a retired competitive swimmer and coach, I would be using the talents and skills I have acquired to teach these kids life saving skills. The Lord has given me the desire to serve and to help others. This opportunity to go teach and care for children in a foreign country has sparked a flame of wanting to pursue medical missions as a profession. I don’t know what God has in store for my life, or this trip, but I am stepping out in faith and waiting on the Lord to provide. I am very excited for this adventure and to see what He has in store!

And if you are able to help support me financially (I am a broke college kid ) that would be amazing! The total trip will come to around $4,000, which will include flights, food, board…etc.
