Hi Everyone!
My name Is Renee DeSantis…. This is my road to recovery story. Thank you for all you give and have given. My gratitude is not measured it words, but in prayer to you all and your families.
A little over a year ago, I fell down stairs where I live in Jupiter, FL.
Specifically in Abacoa, where I also groomed dogs in my little salon down stairs. Renee’s Pet Grooming. ❤️
My fall, led to me becoming paralyzed. I had surgery, no insurance, no health anything…. I couldn’t afford it at the time, thinking.
”That won’t happen, I’m healthy, I’m carful.”
We all do it.. Unfortunately, it happened. My road hasn’t been easy and it seems that after the insurance through the state I did get & the care I received from the rehab… I’m bed ridden.
My business, held up by oldest son Bradley, is nothing but a miracle that god has blessed me with and I’ve prayed for success. He does everything he can and I can’t burden him any more.
My other son Julian coming home and being with his family for the first time in almost a decade, his wife and my beautiful grandson.
They Are doing everything can for me as well.
in reality, the only thing that will make me well, is money. Money, for physical therapy, money for help to get me up everyday, because I can’t do it on my own.
I can fight, I’m still fighting and I will never give up and that shows in the boys I raised and how far I’ve come. It just seems like this is the end of my road. Not a pity party, just what seems so… realistic.❤️❤️
You all have given everything, some of you have given your dogs for my son and his staff to learn and get better, you all have shown up in ways that are indescribable. My heart and soul are overwhelmed, as the first GoFundMe my son created, helped us immensely in so many ways.
I know you all are responsible for why we made it this far and are responsible for me and my family coming this far.
Thats why I know I can come and lean on you again, when I have no other way.
