Support Renee's Family Transition to Stability

Hi! This is Cheri Fandozzi, co-founder of the grass-roots donor and volunteer group The Mom Squad. We walk alongside families who have left the NYC shelter system but are still challenged by food- and resource-insecurities as they get stabilized in their new lives in permanent housing.

RENEE and her girls are in urgent need of assistance.

Renee finally sorted out the daycare benefit for her youngest daughter so that she could find steady employment, but now their cash benefits have been suddenly cut off with no notice. Renee has filed an emergency claim for a hearing with HRA (Human Resources Administration, the entity that manages the benefits). In the meantime, starting on Monday, she will be doing DoorDash deliveries to make money while her girls are in school/daycare and while she continues to look for permanent employment.

They are in urgent need of funds and resources for food, phone service, and other household bills. Please considering making a contribution - any amount will be appreciated.
