Support Renee to Remission

Renee was diagnosed with Breast Cancer on June 11, 2020 after having a lump checked only a week prior. The diagnosis comes on the heels of a difficult start  to 2020 for many, Renee included. Her creative small business had seen decreased revenue as the global pandemic affected so many of her clients businesses as well.

Earlier in the same week she was diagnosed with breast cancer, Renee was reaching out to me to ask for advice on how to navigate the financial uncertainty of small business ownership.

If there's one, incredibly tangible, way we can support and uplift Renee right now, it's financially. Her self-employment health insurance comes with a high deductible and inadequate cost sharing. Renee's business will no doubt need to be put on hold for a time while she addresses her health and develops a treatment plan with her oncologist. 

I've started this fund raiser with one goal in mind. Help Renee pay for medical and living expenses throughout the duration of her treatment. While we don't yet know what the medical costs will amount to, we have set a $10,000 goal which will be adjusted up or down as new information comes available.
