This is a message from Renee...."Hi! I want to thank everyone so much for their generosity. Update: I'm still fighting. Not sure that's a good word for it? That's not what I feel I'm doing. I'm just following directions on what all of my doctors think will let me be here longer. This is chemo #14 or 15? My nurses are great although I dread having to go here for infusions. I wish I could fix everyone that is here next to me in this infusion center so they wouldn't have to feel afraid. I'm still getting scans of my brain & body every couple of months & trying to fix what pops up. I have to make a radiation decision soon. It will be harsh at 45+ treatments. I'm a little scared about this. I also qualify for a trial at the Taussig Cancer Center in Cleveland. Another decision. Just know that I am so grateful for the support all of you have given me."
This part is from me, Patty Durkos (Renee's Aunt). I am SO very proud of the courage, will power, & strength that Renee has shown through this formidable journey. She certainly hasn't deserved the hand that she's been dealt but she's facing it with grace & dignity. I admire her so very much for that.
Let's see if we can get closer to the goal. Renee & her family are so appreciative of your donations. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
