The Haiti Club of Shadyside Academy is proud to support Renancia and Charleng's educational journey as secondary students in Menelas, Haiti, through the support of WORK's Education Program. Funds raised will cover the cost of their tuition, books, uniforms, supplies and additional tutoring support for a successful school year ahead.

Renancia is currently in 9th grade at Centre de Formation Classique et Professionnel. Her favorite subject is Biology, and she hopes to become a flight attendant in the future.

One important change this year is that Renancia moved up to a higher grade. During the insecurity, she and her family had to leave their home, and this was a very difficult time for her. Thankfully, things have improved, and she has been able to return home. She says she is doing well now.

Charleng is currently in NS2 at Lycée de Duvivier and her favorite subject is Economics. She would like to become an agronomist in the future. She also went through a very difficult time during the insecurity and had to leave her home with her sister and family. Thankfully, the situation has improved, and she has been able to return home.

Renancia and Charleng would like to warmly thank the students of Haiti Club and supporters for the exceptional support. They believe this support will have a positive impact on theor future.
