My sister, Renae is having major back surgery in October. Most of the costs are covered but she needs our help by September 30 to cover her unpaid leave from work. Renae has a strong spirit and much resilience but her back is causing so much pain that she needs two canes just to walk. Her doctors have told her the surgery has become a medical requirement and have scheduled it to be performed as soon as possible. Her recovery should take anywhere from 2 to 6 months and during that time she will be unable to work.

All funds will be used to cover Renae’s living expenses during her 2-6 month recovery time. If excess funds are raised, they will be set aside to help Renae with costs related to a 3rd surgery in Spring 2026.
