Support for Renee, Charlotte, and Taylor During Their Time of Loss

It is with a heavy heart that I write this. Early on the morning of December 1st, my brother-in-law Chip passed away at home after a courageous and determined battle with esophageal cancer. He would have turned 50 this coming Thursday, December 5th.

Chip was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He loved his wife Renae and their children, Charlotte and Taylor, with all his heart. He was also a man of the outdoors, with a deep passion for fishing, boating, and knife throwing. He fought his illness with incredible strength and determination, pursuing every possible medical measure to prolong his time with his family.

This past year and a half has been incredibly challenging for Renae and the kids. Alongside caring for Chip during his illness, they also faced the heartbreaking loss of Chip’s mother. This has left the family emotionally and financially overwhelmed, as they now face not only the burden of funeral expenses but also mounting medical bills, unpaid household expenses, and home repairs.

Renae and the kids need support during this unimaginably difficult time. Chip’s passing leaves a significant void, not just emotionally but also practically, as they navigate life without him.

As someone who lives far from my sister and her family, I wanted to find a way to help them despite the distance. This GoFundMe is a way for all of us—friends, family, and compassionate strangers—to come together to support Renae, Charlotte, and Taylor in their time of need.
