Hello, I am Remi’s guardian in life. She is my world and my fur child. Since she was 8 weeks old, we have been together through it all, the ups and downs, and we are both currently in a down. My entire company was shut down, and Remi is needing to have a lump/bump/mass removed from her hind leg to then go off for further testing.

She has had this lump/bump, and occasionally when sitting on that spot excited about someone coming, it would rub and bleed for a brief minute. It hasn’t bothered her, and in her last visit to get her hair trimmed, it broke open. I called the vet, thinking it was nothing. They let me know after seeing pictures that I needed to schedule a pre-op appointment, that we need to have it removed and sent off for further testing. Any additional treatment would come after the findings of the results.

As her protector, I feel I failed as I am now needing help. Being laid off has taken a toll emotionally and financially. We are making it by, but this new news has us in a pinch. I would be so grateful for any help given as I know it is not your responsibility to care for Remi. However, this dog is my whole life and loves life. I am asking for her so she can enjoy the sunshine on her fur, the grass on her paws, and the occasional treat that comes her way. We love Remi and want her to be around for a long, long time.
