Hi, I'm Kaneesa Aldridge. I've created this GoFundMe to raise donations for my brother and his 4-year-old toddler who is fighting for her life in the hospital on life support.

My brother, Chris Aldridge, has always been a dad first. He always made sacrifices and put his daughter first. My brother is a single dad to my niece, Remi. Remi brings our family so much joy, despite the challenges she faces with her condition. As some may know, Remi has cerebral palsy. Chris loves Remi and has changed his life for the better to raise his daughter, who already has had a rough start in life.

We are a family that gets through hard times alone; we are very independent. Remi is fighting for her life after being in the care of her mother and her mother's boyfriend. Remi was happy and full of life before she left this weekend with her mother. We got a call that Remi was fighting for her life due to 'shaken baby syndrome,' ruled out as foul play. My niece is 4, and my brother is 25.
