Hello my name is Tyler, the pictures you are looking at is my dog Remington. Remington is a 8 year old male pitbull who is very sweet, gentle, loves car rides , going for walks , and just overall the best dog anyone could ask for. One day we noticed that Remy wasn't eating or going poop but was drinking water , thinking he could have a wierd stomach bug that it would pass by. The next day he still wouldn't eat or go poop so I brought him to the vet where he got his blood drawn and x-rays done, nothing came up besides just gas, his veterinarian refured me to a emergency ER vet where they have more options, I brought Rem to the er where they did an altrosound and said the same thing, they gave him some fluids ,and told me "if nothing changes in 12-24hrs bring Remington back ", they sent us home , on that day it made a pretty good dent in my wallet just between the to vet visits, but for my dog it was worth it every penny. On day 3 when I got out of work ( I work 3rd shift) I went straight home and watched him for two hours to see if anything changed. After the two hours I went back to the er vet, they took Remy for an x-ray but this time he was asleep where they can get a better picture of what's going on. When the veterinarian's brought him back to the room they informed me he has a cob of corn in his intestines and now needs emergency surgery, the surgery was quoted to be around $8-$10 thousand dollars. I had to get a loan due to the cost of the surgery , my dog is family and anyone who knows Remington, or has every met him knows he's very important to my family and i. I'm not the type of person to ask for help but this loan is impacting my life tremendously. Any type of donation helps.
