This GoFundMe was created on behalf of Justin and Keli Crall, loving parents to a beautiful and resilient baby girl, Remington Rae Crall, who has already overcome more in her first year than most do in a lifetime.

Remi’s Story

Sweet Remi Rae was born 10 weeks early via emergency C-section and has spent every day since fighting through tremendous odds. She was diagnosed shortly after birth with multiple complex and lifelong medical conditions, including: Spina Bifida, Hydrocephalus, Chiari II Malformation, and Neurogenic bladder and bowels.

In her first months of life, Remi endured two major surgeries, including a spinal closure and VP shunt placement, and is now preparing for another brain surgery, a shunt revision, in the coming days.

Her diagnoses affect nearly every part of her body and require:

Daily catheterization and bladder/bowel management

Ongoing neurosurgical and urology care

Weekly physical and occupational therapy

Mobility assistance as she grows

Frequent hospital visits and sedation MRIs

Specialized medications and medical equipment

The Financial Burden

The financial burden on her family has become overwhelming. Her 54-day NICU stay was billed at $388,000, and her parents, Justin and Keli Crall, have already begun paying out-of-pocket costs through payment plans and credit cards just to keep up with her initial care needs. Unfortunately, despite Remi’s complex medical diagnoses, she was denied for SSI assistance because both of her parents work full-time. Additionally, their application for TEFRA, which would allow Medicaid to assist with her care, has been in pending status since November 2024.
