Support Relocation After Family Loss

Family, Friends and Kind Strangers,

My name is Tammy Hernandez. My brother Dominic D'Attili had emergency open heart surgery Sept. 11, 2024 and did not survive.

On Oct 7th, he was taken off life support. His unexpected passing has left us lost and heartbroken.

There is another GFM but this one is for me, his disabled sister and 2 grandkids; his actual family.

Due an eviction a month and half after his passing by his 'girlfriend' the kids and I need to find a new place to live.

Relocation at any stage in life is hard. Relocation after a family death, while disabled, is even harder, but these are my current circumstances.

I have been living in my (recently deceased) brother's home for over a decade with my grandchildren. Unbeknownst to me, the home was sold prior to his passing, and the owner is claiming the property, putting my household in some unforeseen circumstances requiring relocation elsewhere. I am currently disabled and awaiting back surgery, which is scheduled for later this month.

These circumstances have left me in a financial bind, and my goal is to raise enough money to successfully relocate myself and my grandkids to an area where we can start over and begin to heal from the grief and stress we have received this past month.

It's taken a lot for me to have reached the point of a GoFundMe, but I need help and time is running out. I come to you with an open heart to ask you to consider donating.
