Rebuilding Burnt Down Home In Costa Rica

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support.

My 75-year-old great aunt, who lives in Costa Rica, recently lost her lifelong home in a devastating fire. She and her children are now left with nothing, trying to pick up the pieces after this unimaginable loss.

This tragedy is especially painful for our family because my great aunt has always been a pillar of strength and generosity. She played a critical role in raising my mother after my grandmother passed away when my mom was just 2 years old. She became a mother figure not only to my mom, but a loving and selfless presence in the lives of everyone around her.

She has spent her life giving to others, now it's our turn to give back to her.

We are doing everything we can as a family, but we know we can’t do it alone. Our goal is to raise funds to help her begin to rebuild and to provide essentials, find a safe place to stay, and eventually restore what was lost.
