Obituary of Reita Jo Kelley

On Sunday afternoon April 21, 2024, Reita Jo Kelley passed away at South Haven Health and Rehabilitation in Hoover, Alabama. Reita was 69 years old. She is survived by her beloved nephew, Jonathan and his wife, Sarah, and sisters, June Kelley Copeland and Kathy Kelley Taylor. Her parents (deceased) were Sammy and Kathleen Kelley of Alabaster, Alabama and her sister (deceased) Sandra Kelley Chapman of Pelham, Alabama. She had several dear nieces and nephews. Reita had health issues for the majority of her adult life that caused her to become very private and reclusive. Before her illnesses became so debilitating she worked several years at UAB in Birmingham, Alabama. Reita was known for her compassionate nature and fun-loving personality. Because Jonathan, Sarah and her friends loved her so much, they have put together this Go Fund Me to help pay her final expenses. If you knew Reita, or know someone who did, please spread the word.
