Reise has recently found out that he was born with a rare heart defect where he has two valves in his heart instead of three. Some have dubbed this condition “the silent killer” due to the stress and strain it can put on a person's body and heart, and for how dangerous it can be. While Reise and his wife McKenzie are grateful to have discovered this abnormality, unfortunately, Reise will have to undergo open-heart surgery in January of 2025 due to the life-threatening nature of this condition. As a result, Reise will be out of work to recover from surgery for at least 8 weeks with no income. The couple will also be having the burden of medical expenses and expensive rehab chairs and equipment. Reise and Kenzie are such loving, kind, and generous people. They are always giving back to their community, and anyone that knows Reise loves him. He makes all his clients at his barber shop, The Man Barber in Provo, Utah, feel special and cared for.
