Help Reini Give His Mother the Farewell She Deserves

We're coming together to support Reini during one of the most difficult times in his life. Reini’s grandmother, Elsa “Fina” Dinora Peets Michel, who lovingly raised him as her own—recently passed after a long battle with end-stage kidney disease.

Due to her condition, she was never able to qualify for life insurance, leaving Reini and his family with the emotional and financial weight of planning a proper farewell for the woman who meant everything to him.

We are raising funds to help cover funeral and burial expenses, and to ensure Reini can honor her life with the dignity and love she so deeply deserves. Any amount, big or small, will go directly toward these costs.

Any funds raised beyond the funeral expenses will be donated in her honor to Salem Free Methodist Church — a place that nurtured her spirit, her faith, and a place that truly felt like home.
