Support Reid Pluta and his battle with Leukaemia

On April 21, 2023, our 11-year-old nephew Reid was unexpectedly diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). A few trips to the doctor to monitor hemoglobin levels turned into an immediate admission to Alberta Children’s Hospital, where Reid began inpatient treatment in Calgary. Those who have learned of this turn of events have been shocked and devastated, as Reid is such a sweet, kind, and fun-loving kiddo.

We created this page as we’ve had an overwhelming amount of people asking how they can help support Reid & his family during this journey. The funds raised will go towards all the unexpected costs associated with his diagnosis. He is likely to receive in/outpatient treatments over approximately two years and will need to be slowly re-introduced to educational and extracurricular activities as his health improves. Additionally, Reid’s parents' time away from work during these treatments and associated travel costs in the coming years will add up.
