$7,950 raised of
Hi my name is Regine! Friends call me Cookie, Uryus calls me Mom. I am a hard working Postal Clerk who has worked at the post office for 21 years... that's straight out of high school. I just turned 41 in February. I was and still look forward to what this new year has to bring to me. I lost my mom last year to lung cancer. So this year has definitely been a weird one. Well to get to the nitty gritty.... On my birthday this year, I received a call that changed my life. I had been going through some health changes and blood work needed to be drawn. Abnormal cells they said I didn't realize at the time what it meant but soon it was given a name. Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
My world has been flipped upside down.
I was told to pack a bag and I had to leave my 10 year old son for a month. I was only able to speak to him on FaceTime because children weren't allowed on the hospital floor I would be on 2 hrs away from home. 28 days in the hospital with the first 7 days on chemo for 24 hrs a day. I have exhausted all of my leave at work for the year in just one month.
I have gone through 3 rounds of chemo. And I have just received word that I HAVE A MATCH FOR BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT! I Have to leave home for 3 months.
I NEED HELP!!!! I have worked my entire adult life I honestly don't know what it is like not to make my own money, but my health situation has put me in unknown territory. So here I am.
I pray that you are willing to help me out in this unknown season of my life. I pray for a full recovery so I can get back to doing it for me and mine. All help is welcomed!
