Regina Sparks is mom to Landon, a 15-year-old boy with special needs. Her husband Andy was friendly with everyone he met and great with Landon. Sadly, on June 14, Andy passed away after a battle with very aggressive cancer, only about a month after his diagnosis.

This has left Regina and Landon grieving and also hard-pressed financially. Regina works in the school system and doesn't get paid in the summer. They had been counting on Andy's income for the summer months, but were instead drained by medical costs.
