Reesie had to undergo a life-saving surgery to correct a diaphragmatic hernia, which resulted in many of her intestines being displaced into her chest cavity, disrupting her ability to breathe. Since Reesie is only two years old and has not experienced any significant trauma that could have led to this condition, doctors believe she was born with the condition. Her sudden decompensation led to an immediate surgery and diaphragmatic reconstruction to prevent further respiratory distress. This very unexpected and emergent situation has led to vet bills estimated at around $8,000 if she responds well to treatment. Please donate to help cover the cost of this life-saving surgery for my ESA, Reesie.
