Support Reese’s Surgery Recovery

Hey y’all,

This past year has tested me in ways I never saw coming. What started as a fibroid diagnosis years ago became a full-on health crisis in 2024. I’ve had over 10 ER visits, 4 ambulance rides, and two emergency 911 calls. I spent months dealing with extreme fatigue, anemia, hormone reactions, anxiety, and physical weakness, all while trying to keep life afloat.

There were days I couldn’t stand or walk for long. I couldn’t cook or drive. My mental health took a huge hit. I even had to pause my business completely, which was one of the hardest parts.

I’ve tried everything I could—from medications and hormone treatments to therapy—but my body kept shutting down. Now, after almost a year of setbacks, I’m finally getting surgery. It’s the step I’ve been waiting for to finally heal and start getting back to myself.

Recovery, especially living in Long Beach, CA, comes with added expenses. I’m raising $2,000 to help ease the financial stress of this time. The funds will go toward things like:

Extra Medical Bills Costs not covered by insurance. I’ve paid most out of pocket but it has been a bit overwhelming after 10 months.

Groceries and meal delivery while I recover

Medications and supplements not covered by insurance

Medical supplies and support items for home healing

Transportation since I’m unable to drive

Basic wellness support and unexpected recovery needs
