If you know me, you definitely know Reese. Our perfect little "lawnmower" with two different colored eyes - the only thing is, now his blue eye is being negatively impacted.

Back in 2024, I noticed a small lump on his eyelid. Our vet said it was nothing to worry about and we should just monitor it. Now, fast forward a year later, it has grown to the point where it is now affecting Reese's sight.

It is uncomfortable and possibly painful for him, as whenever he goes to itch it for relief, he often ends up tearing the mass open, which causes blood to fill up in and around his eye. This has started to happen so often that the white fur on his paw is stained pink from when he has tried to clean himself.

Our vet recently quoted us the amount for the removal. I want to take care of Reese, but in this instance, I do not have the means to do so. After a recent check-up, the vet worries that if we wait longer, he could possibly lose his sight or even his entire eye.

Reese has been with me since 8th grade, through all of my hardships, always there ready to love and protect me however he could. Now it's my turn to do that, and I'm turning to our community to support me in doing so.

Whatever you can do, whether it's donating a little, a lot, or simply sharing our situation online for others to see. Reese should not have to suffer like this because of a hefty cost, so please do what you can to help us end this pain.
