The Final Stretch of Recovery — Help Us Finish the Climb
This past year has been one of survival.
In January, my husband received a life-saving bone marrow transplant for his very serious and rare condition: Aplastic Anemia — a miracle we don’t take for granted. That season brought deep physical, emotional, and financial strain. But thanks to the incredible generosity of friends, family, and even strangers, we made it through. Your support helped carry us through the darkest and most fragile moments of our lives, and we will never forget it.
Now, we find ourselves in the final stretch of this long road — tired, grateful, and still in need of help.
As we continue to recover and slowly rebuild, there is still a financial gap we cannot close on our own. My husband is working hard to regain his strength and his footing, and we are doing everything we can to prepare for the future. But we’re not there yet. This season still comes with real costs — groceries, medical expenses, a growing family — and no income.
We are asking for help to finish this chapter and keep our home steady and secure while we continue to heal, grow, and move forward.
We know many of you have already given so much. We are so thankful for you and the sacrifices you’ve made for us. Whether you’re able to support us financially or not, we ask that you please join us in prayer — that Reed would be fully healed, and even more so that God would be glorified through this.
God has been so merciful and gracious towards us every step of the way.
With humble thanks,
Reed, Samantha, Magnolia, & Baby Barron
