Hi, this is Mike Reed,

My wife and I are putting this GoFundMe together to help our family in Jamaica after Hurricane Melissa. We have three children and one grandchild along with my wife's parents all living in Jamaica. All of their homes will require a new roof and window work to get the homes livable again. Almost everyone who lost a roof also lost all their belongings. Many have lost lives or are still missing. Our hearts and prayers go out to everyone affected.

Along with the rebuilding of the family homes, we will be putting together food and clothing along with medical supplies to be shipped to Jamaica. Many of the poorest people will be overlooked and they need to be supported. Two of our children work in the medical field and will be able to distribute donated supplies through a medical clinic. Raised funds will be used to replace the roof on two family homes. Clothing and food will be shipped to our families in Jamaica. Medical supplies and clothing will be purchased and shipped to our family members who work in the medical field and will be distributed at their clinics.

Our hope is to be able to help as many people and families as possible. We hope to be able to fund rebuilding trips in the future as this will be a many-year-long process for Jamaica to rebuild. We will continue to update all who donate on the progress of shipments and rebuilding of the homes.
