Support Reece's Dream: Volleyball in Croatia

Hello, my name is Reece Bettencourt, and I have recently been given an incredible opportunity to live out a dream of mine this summer!! This dream includes two of my favorite things, playing volleyball and traveling. In order to make this dream come true I need some help.

Recently, I have been selected to play volleyball in Pula, Croatia, on the Northern California Volleyball High Performance Team (NCVAHP). This is an All-Star Team made up of some of the most talented young women from across Northern California. We will be traveling all the way to Croatia with an amazing organization called BIP (bring it promotion), to compete in Global Challenge Pula. Which is a prestigious international volleyball tournament where we’ll face off against teams from around the world!

Not only will I get to play the sport I love at a high level, but also I will also get to experience new cultures, go sight seeing in free time, network, and grow both as an athlete and a person. Competing internationally means I'll get to learn from different playing styles and meet players from all over. it’s truly a once in a lifetime opportunity!

Unfortunately though, big dreams come with big costs. Between flights, hotels, food, tournament fees, and other travel expenses, the total cost adds up quickly. I’m asking for your support to help make my dream a reality. And also to ease the financial burden on me and my parents, who have always supported me every step of the way.
