Hi All! My name is Donya Brown, and I am the Owner, Chief Baker, and Head Pan Washer of world-renowned Red Shoe Cakes! This is our ninth year of bringing classy, cocktail-infused bundt cakes to the world, and are needing to take a big leap. Would you like to build a cake chalet with me? Here's what happened: We were just getting into the awesomeness of the 2025 Spring/Summer event season when our beautifully moody Georgia weather robbed us of not one, but TWO tents in two months! I've been purchasing easy pop-up 10x10 tents from a local store because they're affordable and look good, but I realized I need something stronger. (Pictured are my humble beginnings with a borrowed tent and tables in Cali, to my second-to-last tent here in GA about an hour before it kicked off the foot weights and blew away...) Here's what I'm looking for: Thanks to initial contributions, I was able to purchase a much more sturdy tent! It's wonderful, but it's blank. Stark white and pizazzless. I'm in the process of getting quotes from local printers, so the fundraiser amount of $500 should be just enough. This bright new design is the perfect beacon to draw people into my lair... I mean, get folks' attention to come try my cakes! It just screams "Professional Caker Up to No Good", right? Do I "need" this Hulk framework and a printed canopy and side walls? Like a perfect Caketail, it's the combination that makes it work. The framework is the cake, the canopy (heavy-duty, UV- and water-resistant) is the libation, and the sidewalls? Well, they're the topping! One can exist without the others, but then it wouldn't be an RSC masterpiece, would it? Here's the Ask: It would mean the world to me to be able to go confidently through the Summer/Fall season outfitted like a tailored pro. Would you please invest in this future with me?
