Recy Abellanosa is a teacher, a wife, and a mother. She has been diagnosed with Schistosomiasis and complications such as liver cirrhosis, and edema on most parts of her body, including her lungs. She is in critical condition and is currently admitted at a local hospital in Tacloban City, Philippines.
