Support Recovery Journey from Lyme & POTS

Donation protected
I was diagnosed with POTS in April of 2024, and my health continued to decline from this point. I went from being an active 33-year-old, doing hair, dancing, and attending live music events with my friends, hiking with my dog Storm, to struggling to get out of bed each day and barely leaving my house.

At the peak of my symptoms, I was so sound sensitive I couldn’t even be in my own home without wearing earplugs, light sensitivity and migraines daily, constant dizziness, vertigo, tinnitus, fatigue, issues with my vision, feeling faint, and increased heart rate. Basically, my world shrunk in a matter of months, and just existing in the world was a daily struggle. None of the doctors seemed to have any solutions for what I’ve been experiencing, and I’ve been medically gaslit and misdiagnosed along the way.

I’ve continued to search to try and find something that might be able to help me. I’ve finally found doctors that believed me and thought that this may be from Covid and a series of other stressful life events and illnesses causing my nervous system to shut down. I started a brain retraining program for chronic illness in July called the Gupta Program and have started to see slow improvements.

In my searching for answers, I came across functional neurology and Delta Neuro Health located in Columbus, Ohio. Everything I experienced was being validated, and Dr. Coppus feels confident he is going to be able to help me. I have already undergone a 3-hour intake assessment and will be taking a month off work at the end of September so I can receive treatment 3x a week at Delta Neuro and eventually tapering off over time.

*UPDATE
With continued searching I have been diagnosed with Lyme, Bartonella, Babesia and Tick Borne Relapsing Fever. I have found an excellent Lyme Literate Dr near me and am undergoing treatments for these infections. This care is so necessary and also not covered by insurance.

I'm not typically one to reach out like this, but I figured that my community won’t know I need help unless I ask for it. So I am asking for any help you are able to give in receiving my treatments. Money has already been tight with my decreased ability to work, but I’m hoping with the proper care and your help, I can get my life back and be functional and healthy again. I appreciate any and all support, be it financially, emotionally, or spiritually.
