Hello everyone!

My name is Jess and I'm raising these funds to cover my rental costs over the next 4 months while I'm recovering from an almost 3 year long bedridden episode. I was born with severe rheumatoid arthritis and haven't been able to work due to it. I started in this flare, and it's been attacking all my joints for almost 3 years, which has completely crippled me. This causes swelling and immobility in the joints, severe rashes and even cellulitis has happened due to my health condition. All my joints are impacted but my hips have been immobile due to inflammation and pain for the last almost 3 years. It impacts my fingers, elbows, wrists, ankles knees etc. All of my joints, severely. My health is slowly getting better, but I'm still unable to walk and function that well. I live alone so its been difficult to say the least, managing this and keeping a roof ove rmy head. However slow progress is still progress. This fundraiser will allow me to have a roof over my head during my recovery to remission, without the stress of losing my home. This way I can solely focus on getting into remission without constantly stressing over possibly looming evicted. Funds have been limited due to my health the last few years, and this will ensure that things remain stable in this time to ensure my recovery. Unfortunately medicine has not been able to fix my issue, I've been on the road to recovery through holistic measures under my own research, using myself as a Guinea pig trial and erroring every diet, every holistic protocol and more. Ive finally found something that works for me and having stress off my shoulders from looming eviction will help me heal even faster. Stress makes me flare even more, so this will directly contribute to my healing no doubt. I'm grateful for the support I've gotten so far, I grew up in foster care so relying on family isn't an option. But I'm lucky to have the online communities that have been so generous to keep me afloat so far. I'm baffled by the support and never thought I'd be blessed this way. I want to say thank you for supporting my recovery, I look forward to just being able to pull up my own underwear again, cooking on my own, and even just walking to bathroom will be a miracle to me. A lot of yall have watched my health slowly decline over the past couple years and have continued to support even in times when life felt like it was slipping away. Through medication bad reactions to months of just throwing up and losing so much weight that I've become even more weak, yall have seen it all. I'm so grateful to be at this point in my recovery and this last little push will ensure my remission and getting stability under my feet while I'm healing. My rent is about 2500$ a month including utilities so this amount will help cover four months of rent which should be plenty of time with the continued progress, to get into remission and get my own flow of stable incoming coming in finally.
