Support Austin’s Recovery from Severe Liver Infection

As some of you know, and some of you may not know, I spent the 8 days at Northside Hospital with a severe liver infection. My liver was on the verge of collapse. Severe weakness and pain in my body sent me to the ER where I was admitted. Enzymes in my liver were 3000 times higher than they should be and I went full jaundice.

Thankfully, with the supportive care of the nurses at the hospital, my condition began to turn in the right direction and I was able to return home and begin the long 4-8 weeks of recovery.

Due to the nature of the injury and stay at the hospital, I have been out of work since July 1st. It is unclear when I will be able to return to work.

Unfortunately, I am uninsured, and am having to make routine follow-ups with specialists and referrals and those bills are all due day of service.

Excluding medical; my bills, dog, car, housing, and general expenses have completely depleted any and all funds I have.

I am today 26 days sober and have completely changed my diet and habits in order for me to get back to work ASAP.

That being said: I could really use your help. I really wish I didn't have to make this page but I am really struggling right now.

Funds will be used for Doctor's, prescriptions, and essential bills. Each follow up costs $125 dollars out of pocket, Lab testing next at $650. Total bills as of now are in excess of $42,000 all together.
