Support Recovery from Robbery in Mexico

Earlier this week, I was robbed. I recently moved to Mexico and moved in with a guy named Vicente Traver Mendoza. I thought he was my friend at first, but after I moved in, he started being ridiculous. He gave me a 10:30 bedtime and told me I was not allowed to invite friends over to the house that I was paying rent to live in.

On Monday, he randomly decided to change the locks while I was out for a walk. He left me with nothing but the clothes on my back. We called the police, and they were unable to recover any of my things, as Vicente destroyed our lease, including my copies that were in my room, and told the police we had never signed anything.

The general consensus of the police and everyone who has met Vicente is that this was all because he had a crush on me and was jealous that I had been going on dates with girls.

So, I was able to get my dog and my passport, but I am now without my Helmart racing helmet, my racing suits and Nomex, two of my guitars, my Polaroid camera, all of my clothes, my model planes that I have spent years building, my signed glove from the first time I met Sebastian Vettel, my original vintage prints from the Monaco Grand Prix, and a colored pencil drawing of me racing done by Daniel Koronzci.

He took all of this from me, and we now have no way to get it back. This has really put me in a difficult spot, being homeless and without any of my things in a foreign country. I want to ask for your help. I have started a GoFundMe and am trying to replace all of my things so that I will be able to get back on track next year. It’s been a really difficult week, and I appreciate any support you guys can provide to help me out in this time.
