On October 22nd, my home caught fire, destroying nearly everything I owned. The bathroom and kitchen were completely burned, taking with them all of my essentials; groceries, cleaning supplies, and personal items I had just purchased after carefully stretching my budget.

I’ve been searching for a new place to live with little luck so far, and I’m currently trying to move what wasn’t burned into storage. Once I secure a new home, I’ll need to cover moving expenses again to bring what remains of my belongings to a safe space.

Before the fire, I was already struggling financially while focusing on repairing my car, something that’s even more urgent now with winter approaching here in Minnesota. Between inconsistent work hours and trying to catch up from previous bills, this setback has left me with nothing to fall back on.

I’m doing everything I can to get back on my feet and I've been attempting to do it alone.
