Hi, my name is Maye. A few days ago, I had an accident that left me with a broken hand, and now I am completely unable to perform any kind of daily task or work for at least two months, according to my doctors

I’m currently living alone in Chicago, far from family, without a job, and without the financial resources to get through this difficult time. This situation has affected me not only physically, but also mentally and emotionally. I have no income, yet I still need to pay my rent, utilities, medications, and basic living expenses while I recover.

With all my heart, I’m asking for your help. I never imagined being in a situation like this, but today I find myself vulnerable and in need of support from kind people who can lend a hand. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help me survive this recovery period and prepare to get back on my feet.

Hola, mi nombre es Maye. Hace poco sufrí un accidente que me dejó con una mano fracturada y completamente incapacitada para realizar cualquier tipo de labor diaria o trabajo por, al menos, dos meses según indicaciones médicas.

Estoy viviendo sola en la ciudad de Chicago, sin familia cerca, sin trabajo actualmente, y sin los recursos económicos para hacer frente a esta emergencia. Esta situación me ha afectado no solo físicamente, sino también emocional y mentalmente. No puedo trabajar, ni generar ingresos, pero aún debo cubrir mis gastos básicos como la renta, los servicios (billes), los medicamentos y mi alimentación durante este tiempo de recuperación.

Pido tu ayuda con humildad. Nunca imaginé estar en una situación así, pero hoy me encuentro vulnerable y necesito el apoyo de personas solidarias que puedan tenderme una mano. Cualquier aporte, por pequeño que sea, me permitirá mantenerme a flote mientras me recupero y me preparo para volver a empezar.
