Support Recovery for Williams & Jungle Hospital in Honduras

Tax deductible
Dr. Martin & Wendy Williams have dedicated their lives to serving the underserved community in the remote jungles of Honduras. They have lived and raised their family in one of the most inhospitable environments in the world, all while treating patients who would otherwise not likely have received care. They have saved countless lives over decades of service and have been the catalyst to lead even more to Christ. God has expanded their influence and footprint over the years and has blessed them with a functional hospital outfitted with a Labor & Delivery Ward, as well as a Surgical and Recovery Ward in the village of Rio Viejo, in the mountainess jungle of northern Honduras. They've built housing for missionary teams from around the world to come and experience the joy of serving the poor and forgotten. However, within the last 72hrs, Tropical Storm Sara brought 35in of rain to their area and has washed away or damaged much of what they have built. A creek that bisects their property suddenly became a raging river and completely engulfed homes, bridges, and fencing leaving behind tons of mud and debris in the remaining structures. A full-time staff member's home was completely washed away and another has had the foundation nearly taken from under it. Power lines were damaged, and with much of the fencing destroyed, the property and families are subject to looters hoping to benefit from the tragedy. The Williams are some of the finest people I have ever known, and their lives are a living sacrifice. I have experienced the care and love they show the people of Honduras, and they do it in a locale where nothing comes easy. We are heartbroken for their loss, but I am confident that through this tragedy, God is going to do something even greater. Please consider giving toward there recovery and rebuilding efforts. All donations are tax deductible and will go straight to Healing Hands Global, the Williams' 501(c)3. Even small amounts go a long way in Honduras. Thank you.
