Support Recovery for Assault Survivor

Heya Friends and Family, In case you found this randomly, I was physically assaulted by a neighbor who has mental health issues on Sunday, 8/10/24. He hit me once across my left eye after pulling some kind of object out of his pocket and then sprinted down the street. I was admitted to the ER that night, was in surgery by Monday afternoon, and was released Monday evening. The attack ruptured my left eyeball and severely damaged my left brow, and now I have permanently lost total sight in my left eye.

I'm opening this Gofundme due to so many of you graciously asking to help me out as I deal with my new reality. My pride made me resist, at first, but having spent the last week attempting to deal with the legal issues and simple life chores and finding that every aspect of my life so much more challenging than I ever would have believed, I need to quote Marcellus Wallace - "Fuck Pride"
